Issues
Issue productivity
Focused actions and lightweight signals reduce repetitive issue work while preserving Redmine workflow and validation rules.
Quick actions
- Assign to me assigns an eligible issue to the current user.
- Assign to me and start also applies a configured workflow-valid status.
- Quick Status Actions offer configured statuses allowed for the current issue.
Use a quick action
- Open an issue detail page. The plugin shows only actions that are enabled globally and valid for this issue and user.
- Choose Assign to me to set yourself as assignee, or Assign to me and start to also apply the administrator-configured start status.
- Choose a Quick Status Action to change only the status. If more than three statuses are available, use the compact status selector.
- Review the confirmation or validation result. Successful actions use Redmine's normal save path and create a normal issue journal entry.
Why an action is missing
- The feature or required target status is not configured.
- The user cannot edit the issue or is not an eligible assignee.
- The assignee field is not safe for the current issue, or the configured status transition is blocked by workflow.
- A checklist or subtask close guard prevents a transition to a closed status.
Badges, hints, and quality
Overdue, due-today, stale, and unassigned badges appear in supported views. The hint box adds checklist and direct-subtask counts. New-ticket quality warnings flag incomplete details without blocking creation.
How indicators are calculated
- Overdue means an open issue has a due date before today; Due today is kept separate.
- Stale means an open issue has not been updated for the configured number of days.
- Unassigned appears only for open issues without an assignee.
- Quality checks run on the new-issue form and warn about configured omissions; they do not prevent creation.
SLA-Light
Simple timestamp-based hints show first-response and resolution due, overdue, or paused states. SLA-Light does not model contracts, business calendars, escalations, or reports.
Treat these values as operational hints. Confirm the configured response and resolution durations before relying on them, and use a dedicated SLA solution when calendars, contractual targets, escalation chains, or audit reports are required.
